WHAT IS HMB?
HMB stands for B-Hydroxy B-Methylbutyrate Monohydrate. HMB is a metabolite of the branch chain amino acid “L-Leucine.” The B.C.A.A’s are some of the most important amino acids for building muscle tissue. Pro Line’s HMB contains 3000mg of Hydroxy Methylbutyrate (HMB) it is well researched and safe to use, it has been shown to preserve muscle mass by minimizing protein breakdown, and damage to muscles after intense exercise. Also contributes to reduced body fat.
HOW DOES HMB HELP WITH WEIGHT LOSS?
HMB is anti-catabolic (prevents muscle breakdown). Since the tendency of the body is always to consume muscle before fat, and muscle burns fat, preserving and building muscle helps to create lean body mass.
